Affiliate disclosure
Plain English, because the alternative is a paragraph nobody reads.

The short version
OatDrinks is reader-supported. Many of the outbound links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer pays us a commission. You pay exactly the same price — the commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket.
Programmes we participate in
- Amazon Associates (UK). As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
- Brand-direct programmes for plant-milk makers, including the manufacturers of the machines reviewed in our milk makers section.
- UK affiliate networks such as Awin, for coffee equipment brands and coffee subscription services.
Every affiliate link on this site is marked up as rel="sponsored nofollow" and
opens in a new tab, and every page that carries one displays a disclosure near the top — not
only here.
What commission does not buy
- A place in a ranking, or a higher score.
- Removal of a criticism, or sight of an article before publication.
- Coverage at all. We write about products because readers ask about them.
We write the verdict, the pros and the cons before looking at what a product pays. Where the right answer is the cheap one, or "keep buying cartons", that is what the page says.
Gifted and loaned products
Where a manufacturer supplies a review sample, the page will say so explicitly. Samples are treated as loans, are never conditional on a positive write-up, and do not change a score. We do not accept payment for reviews.
Regulatory bit
This disclosure is made in line with the UK Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations and the CAP Code as applied by the Advertising Standards Authority, which require commercial relationships behind editorial recommendations to be clear and prominent before you click.
